MANDALA'S

Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning circle. It is an ancient spiritual, healing and meditation tool used in many cultures around the world. Such as, The Navaho Sand Paintings, the Tibetan Tonka Paintings and the Aztec Sunstone. The list could go on and on, the mandala is such a strong symbol for mankind. Mandala's also symbolise   our energy centres, called chalkras. Mandala's are often found placed within a square or in a hexagon. This form of art work is meant to draw the viewer to the centre and to be a reminder to turn within to our own centre as one would do through meditation.
